You are connected to your wifi network on your Windows 10 laptop, but unable to access the internet. If you check your wireless network you see No Internet, secured instead of connected.
Wifi No Internet Secured Windows 10
To update the driver, copy the driver files over on a USB stick and run the installation or Update Driver function in the Device Manager. Restart to computer to check if the no internet secured error is fixed.
I hope your where able to fix the No internet Secured error in your computer. If nothing worked, then first double check if your windows 10 laptop is able to connect to a different wireless network, for example a hotspot on your mobile phone.
If you haven't dealt with it before, this status can be confusing. "No Internet, secured" means that your computer is connected to a private internet network, but there's a problem with the connection, so you can't receive any data. You'll usually see this message when you try to connect to a Wi-Fi signal that's too far away, but it can appear with almost any network.
As mentioned, the most common reason that you'll see the "No Internet, secured" status is that you're too far away from the source of your internet connection. This makes it so your computer can sense the Wi-Fi network and "connect" to it, but the signal will be too weak to actually transfer any data.
So I've been using bootcamp to use windows 10 on my Macbook over the past couple weeks, and the internet has been working no trouble. A couple days ago wifi suddenly stopped working, I'm certain I didn't manually to anything to cause this and all I get is "no internet, secured" when I try and connect to my wifi. Wifi was working fine on bootcamp up until now and still runs on macOS just fine.
This is my first time using a Microsoft forum because I've never had a problem I can't fix on my computer. I was connected to a network through wifi with no problem, then wanted to switch to a hotspot from a raspberry pi computer. It didn't work, so I tried to connect back to the other network. When I did and re-entered the password, it took 2 minutes to verify and connect, and then it said no internet, secured. So I thought it was a problem with the router. I was connected to a wifi booster, so I unplugged the booster then plugged it back in, and that didn't work. I moved closer to the actual router and connected to the network without the booster, that didn't work. My phone was connected perfectly fine to the network, along with my tablet. So I turned on my mobile hotspot on my phone that only works when connected to wifi. I connected my tablet to the hotspot and it worked, then tried my computer, and it said "no internet, secured" again. I restarted my computer because it needed a update so I did that, then tried to connect to the network again, and it still said no internet, secured. I even followed a guide to update my wifi drivers, flush the dns resolve and some other cmd stuff, and even disabled and re-enable the wifi driver and it still was saying no internet, secured. My computer is saying no internet, secured for every network I try to connect to. I finally found a way to connect my computer to the internet by usb tethering from my phone which is on the network i tried to connect to on my computer. That seems to work but every other wireless, network will say no internet, secured. Would someone please help me? this is really annoying me. Thanks!
Okay. I have looked for almost a year now since about a month after I got the free update for windows 10. My laptop for school originally had windows 8.1 preinstalled, but had the free upgrade to Windows 10. I had win. 10 for a while, about a month into school. Until, the network suddenly stopped working. I looked up so many things to try and look up. I did the method of uninstalling the network adapter software and the computer automatically reinstalling it. And it somewhat worked. But the internet status showed that I had no internet, but secured. I didn't think much of it becuase I still had internet despite the status no matter the network I was connected to. Until I tried to use microsoft apps. It seems that the microsoft apps won;t load if the OS says that there is no internet. For example, the Xbox App won't load and tells me to check the internet connection. It frustrates me becuase I need to edit a setting that is slowing all my video gmes scuh as csgo which is enabling DVR or something like that. I honestly don't know what to do.
To fix the No Internet, secured WiFi issue, you can disable the WiFi sharing app, because the confliction between the router driver program and the wireless driver may cause the no internet secured Windows 10 issue. In this situation, you can disable the WiFi sharing software to get rid of the error.
Don't know if this is the right place to post this but I recently moved and can't seem to get my desktop machine connected to my new wifi. I'm running an MSI MAG B680 TOMAHAWK WIFI on Windows 11 on my machine and for some reason, I get "No Internet secured" when I try to connect to my wifi. I've tried resetting the network adapter, updating the IP address, uninstalling and reinstalling the network device, and updating the network device.

Windows 10 users affected by this problem have also reported seeing an error message stating “No internet, secured” on their screens.

Here’s what we know about this problem so far: it is, in most cases, caused by an invalid IP configuration. In addition, many Windows 10 users start experiencing this problem after downloading and installing Windows updates for their computers as quite a few updates for Windows 10 tend to change network configuration settings when they are installed.
1. Change WiFi Network Adapter Properties
Fortunately, this issue is entirely fixable, although you should run Network and Internet troubleshooter for Windows 10 before proceeding with any other solutions. To run the Network and Internet troubleshooter on a Windows 10 computer, open the Start Menu, search for “troubleshooting”, click on the search result titled Troubleshooting, click on Network and Internet and go through the troubleshooter. If the troubleshooter doesn’t deliver results, however, the following are the most effective solutions you can use to try and resolve this problem on your own:

Hold the Windows Key and Press R. Type ncpa.cpl and Click OK
Choose your wifi connection, right-click and select Properties
In the Wi-Fi Properties, in the "This connection uses the following items:" tab, you should check the following options:

Client for Microsoft Networks
File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks
Link-Layer Topology Discovery Mapper I/O Driver
Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)
Link-Layer Topology Discovery Responder

2. Reset your connection to the internet

Click on the Network icon in your computer’s notification area.
Locate and click on the Wi-Fi network you are connected to that is affected by this problem, and click on Forget.
Unplug any and all Ethernet cables plugged into the computer.
Enable Airplane Mode on the computer.
 Restart the Wi-Fi router.
Once the Wi-Fi router has booted up, disable Airplane Mode on the computer.
Click on the Network icon in the computer’s notification area and connect to the Wi-Fi network.
Wait for a few minutes, and your access to the internet should be restored. If the problem persists, however, simply move on to one of the other solutions listed and described below.

3. Update your network adapter’s driver software

Press the Windows Logo key + R to open a Run
Type devmgmt.msc into the Run dialog and press Enter to launch the Device Manager.
In the Device Manager, double-click on the Network adapters section to expand it.
Locate the network adapter that your computer is currently using under the Network adapters section, right-click on it and click on Update Driver Software….
Click on Search automatically for updated driver software, and wait for Windows to conduct the search.

If your computer finds updated drivers for your network adapter, it will automatically download and install them. Once that’s done, you can try accessing the internet and see whether or not the problem has been fixed. If Windows does not find any updated driver software for the network adapter, however, you should double-check to make sure that you have the latest driver software for your network adapter for Windows 10 by going to the official website of your network adapter’s manufacturer, navigating to the Downloads, Software or Drivers section and manually checking for updated driver software.
4. Change your network’s IP configuration
Since this issue is mostly caused by an invalid IP configuration, it can be fixed in most cases by simply changing the network adapter’s IP configuration. To change the IP configuration of your computer’s network adapter in an attempt to get rid of this issue, you need to:

Right-click on the Network icon in your computer’s notification area and click on Open Network and Sharing Center.
Click on Change adapter settings in the left pane of the Network and Sharing Center.
Right-click on your wireless network, and click on Properties.
Uncheck the checkbox beside the Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) item to disable it, and click on OK.
Close the Network Connections window, and restart your computer.

Wait for the computer to boot up, and then proceed to check whether or not your computer’s access to the internet has been restored.
5. Uninstall and reinstall your computer’s network adapter

Right-click on the Start Menu button to open the WinX Menu, and click on Device Manager in the WinX Menu.
In the Device Manager, double-click on the Network adapters section to expand it.
Locate the network adapter responsible for wireless connections on your computer under the Network adapters section, right-click on it and click on Uninstall.
Enable the Delete the driver software for this device option by checking the checkbox beside it, and then click on OK.
Wait for the network adapter and its driver software to be completely uninstalled.
Once the network adapter has been uninstalled, click on Action > Scan for hardware changes. When you do so, Windows will automatically detect and reinstall the network adapter and its drivers.
Wait for the network adapter and its drivers to be reinstalled, and then restart the computer. Be sure to check whether or not the problem has been fixed when the computer boots up.

@id":"#Publisher","@type":"Organization
Appuals.com
@type":"ImageObject
["https://facebook.com/appuals","https://twitter.com/appuals","https://www.linkedin.com/company/appuals/","https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCR--2QnA0vYBfqsmSI3pQ9g","https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/appuals
@type":"Person
Kevin Arrows
https://appuals.com/author/admin/
Kevin is a dynamic and self-motivated information technology professional, with a Thorough knowledge of all facets pertaining to network infrastructure design, implementation and administration.
